01 Introduction
Askasia ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your information when you use the Askasia platform ("Service"). Please read it carefully.
02 Data we collect
We collect: (a) Account data — name, email address, company name, and password hash when you register; (b) Usage data — worker mandates, task outputs, budget settings, and interaction logs within the platform; (c) Technical data — IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies; (d) Communications — messages you send via the contact form or email.
03 How we use your data
We use your data to: provide and operate the Service; authenticate your account and maintain security; generate and deliver worker outputs as directed by your mandates; send transactional communications (account notices, daily reports, budget alerts); improve the platform; and comply with legal obligations.
04 Worker outputs and your data
Worker mandates and outputs are associated with your account. Workers may access third-party data sources (web pages, public directories) as directed by your mandate. We do not use your mandate content or worker outputs to train shared AI models without your explicit consent.
05 Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with: (a) Trusted infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email) under strict data processing agreements; (b) AI model providers necessary to run workers (usage is governed by their privacy policies); (c) Law enforcement or regulators where required by applicable law.
06 Cookies
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and authentication state. We may use analytics cookies (e.g., Plausible, Google Analytics) to understand platform usage — these are configurable by your platform provider. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
07 Data retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. Worker audit logs are retained for 90 days on Professional plans and 13 months on Enterprise plans. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. Some data may be retained longer for legal or contractual reasons.
08 Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction or deletion; restrict or object to processing; request data portability; and withdraw consent. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below.
09 Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed passwords (bcrypt), and access controls. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure. Report suspected security issues to us immediately.
10 Children
The Service is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11 Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or within the platform. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
